Our scanner refuses to work with OS X.
This means that you won't be seeing new photos for a while.
There's a list of things that we need to do with money and buying a new, compatible scanner isn't one of them.
So if you happen to have a USB or Firewire scanner that you'd like to trade for a reliable SCSI model, let me know. I'll throw in a pair of new socks I stole from Dave and a butterfly knife I bought in Tijuana about ten years ago.
Deb continues to gestate and says she can feel the baby poking around, looking for things to decorate his/her lower level apartment.
His/her? That's right, we're going to try to avoid discovering the sex of this child until he/she is born. We like surprises.
That is, we like surprises up to a point. That's why Debbie has already had first trimester screening. We got a call last Monday from a Genetic Counselor (a job title that sounds a little like William Gibson and Josef Mengele work in the HR department of our hospital). Everything with the baby looks good so far.
Up past midnight on a school night! Gee, I hope there isn't a pop quiz tomorrow.
G'night.
