Hello!
Thank you for stopping by. We're glad that you did!
A number of people have told us that the art and photographs
featured on this site are of poor quality or grainy. Some have
said that the text is too large and doesn't seem to wrap properly
around the art. Here are a few suggestions that might improve
your Greg & Deb's Home page experience:
- Increase your monitor's resolution. For you Windows '98 users,
just go to control panel where you choose your screen saver and
you should be able to increase it from there. This will enhance
everything you do on your computer. For Mac people, just go to
the control panel under the apple menu.
- Increase the number of colors that your computer will display.
You really are missing a lot when you only have 256 colors.
Most of your computers are capable of displaying millions of
different colors. Once again, for Windows '98 users, you can
find this control in the same place as the resolution control.
This is the most important thing you can do to improve the quality
of art and photos that you will find on this page.
- Don't forget to clean out your cache file and/or use the
refresh button on your browser. This ensures that you will be
getting the most recent version of our page (rather than old
files that are turning brown and starting to smell up your computer
a little).
- Use Netscape Navigator. WARNING!
Here comes a little evangelism:
I realize that's a tough one for those of you on AOL. However,
you really should get the AOL monkey off your back and go with
a local internet service provider that features 56K modems. There's
a great deal on the web that you're missing because of the limitations
of an AOL browser. If you're worried about losing your buddy
lists or instant messaging capabilities, don't. AOL owns Netscape
and you can download software that will allow you to IM with
all your AOL family and friends. The best part is that it doesn't
cost you a cent.
- If the text is too large, or small, or you don't like the
font choice, go to your browser's preference option. There you
can choose the way you like your text information displayed for
you. And, don't forget to expand your browser's window to full
screen. That'll help with the text wraps as well.
Thanks again for coming to our web page.
